RESPONSES TO ISSUES RAISED IN CITIZEN SERVICES DURIGN THE SURVEY click to download

Provide a bigger space to accommodate a big number of people that need your services.

The problem of space is critical, but promise that it will be solved after renovation work in. Children and pregnant women are always given priorities.

The only wish is for diaspora's passport and other documents that have to go through the ministry of foreign affairs of which might  delay or even get lost and then create a bad image/impression, so my wish is for Immigration to deal or handle diaspora's passport/document from immigration directly without having to go through the ministry.

We shall discuss with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on how best we can improve. In case of emergency, the applicant can give a letter of attorney approved by the Rwandan embassy in the country of residence or the public notary of the hosting country to someone who will submit the application on his/her behalf.

It would be better if Rwandan embassies improve the custom care towards Rwandans who join them abroad example of embassy of Rwanda in Uganda.

RESPONSES TO ISSUES RAISED IN VISA AND PERMIT SERVICES DURING SURVEY click here to download

My wife and I intended on travelling to Rwanda in October 2014. In September 2014, we applied for the visa confirmation letter online. We never received a response to our applications, notwithstanding the fact that we sent a reminder via Facebook. We were able to obtain an East African tourism visa at the Ugandan border and thus were still able to visit your beautiful country.

We apologize for the delay in processing the two visas and promise that we are going to improve.

In case of any issue of delay, please contact us for help. You will find list of our contacts here,  click for contacts

Stop treating people like enemies. Those who work here from outside does not need to be met with aggression. They need to know how to get a visa, and those procedures are constantly changing, so be helpful not hateful.

We would appreciate to discuss more over the case to take actions accordingly. You can email us pro@migration.gov.rw or dg@migration.gov.rw

Changes in visa requirements and procedures are have not occurred as of recent but can occur due changes in visa regime. (DG comment: you did not respond on the problem of changing requirements)

We take this opportunity to inform the public that procedure and requirements for each type of visa or work permit are available on our website

Please provide long term visas to investors (T10 category) and directors (H category) of the companies established in Rwanda.
